Tennis Update

Well Frank and I played again today. I lost 6-4. I know that this may upset my fans, but let's face it. I am mortal. Just kidding. I'm planning on setting up a running total on the side bar menu of our games, so keep an eye out for it. I've so far had the longest streak of wins in the Tracy vs. Frank competition. I think it's somewhere in the 90's and Frank says it's more like 20's so well call it 35. That's the number to beat, 35 wins in a row, whadda you say Franky Boy?

On to the match review. I took the first game quickly on Frank's serve as he is trying out a fancy spin serve that never went in. I then lost the next two games, in one I gave up 3 points on double faults. I then one the next 2 bringing it to 3-3. Then I lost one, won one so it was 4-4. I then lost the next two. The final game went to deuce twice with me finally giving it away with a bad hit. Oh well, there is always Saturday. We will probably play a few games with some guest players. Brian Johnson and Jared Constantine are rumored to show up. This should be an interesting game. Frank and I just may have to team up to beat them! Until next time sports fans!

Superman Returns

I have to start out by saying that I was very impressed with this movie. I felt that it was done very well. Think Batman Begins. At several points in the movie I actually got chills. Especially the opening credits as they play the iconic Superman theme song. Very well done.
The casting was spot on in my opinion. Brandon pulled of the role as both Clark Kent and Superman very well. He has an innocent charm to both characters that is very necessary to the role. Both the Perry White and Jimmy Olsen roles were also perfectly cast as well. Lois was alright, in my opinion. But Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor was great! He played it as a more funny character, like Gene Hackman did for the first two movies. I prefer my Lex a little more dark, but this worked too.
There were one or two points that were pushing it a little, even for a superhero movie. I don't want to say more, because I don't want to ruin it for anyone.
The last point I want to make was, with all the technology we have today in the movies, they did a wonderful job at making Superman fly. They did for Superman's flying what the Spiderman movies have done for web slinging. It was so believable! The quiet flying with the cape flapping noise was perfect!
Go see this movie. Go see it twice! Very much worth the money. Now I can't wait for the DVD so I can watch all the bonus features!

I Finally Won!

This is just a little message to let the world (and Franks Dad) know that I beat Frank in tennis today 6-4. Thus ending his winning streak at 3 games. I will keep you posted at the next match (Thursday) to see if I can start a winning streak of my own! Cross your fingers!

Addicted to Myspace

I finaly gave in and created a myspace page. I am blown away at how many of my friends and family already have their own pages! It's actually quite addicting as well. I get excited when I get an email that someone's posted a comment or sent an email. It's funny because I actually get more traffic on that page then I get on this blog! Batman First Outing

My friend Frank's sister graduated from High School a couple weeks ago and Batman made a special appearance. Batman is one of her all time favorites. It was the coolest thing in the world to actually be Batman to someone. I know it looks goofy to see batman smile, but I couldn't help it. What an awesome feeling.

My New Batman Costume

I just wanted to post a few pictures of my Batman costume. I am pretty excited about how it's turning out. I have a few things to do still, like attach the cowl to the cape so it doesn't stick out. The whole thing is made out of latex by some very talented artists. It's taken a long time to put together. It's also very hot! There is no way I'm fighting any crime in this thing!
